Technology is revolutionizing every aspect of how people live, including occupations, communications, education, and even leisure. Adults must be able to use technology effectively in order to be successful in a society marked by the rapid development of new information and communication technologies. Adult education learners should be provided an opportunity to use technology as a part of their instructional program. The use of technolgy in instruction can enhance the ability of adult learners to find, analyze, and evaluate information; solve problems and make decisions; communicate, collaborate and share ideas; to be informed, responsible and contributing citizens; and to learn how to learn and keep up with the world as it changes. Additionally, the meaningul use of technology can enhance the instruction of content or skills.
