Introduction

Many adult education teachers fall into the category of reluctant technology users or late adopters. Through this webquest, you will be able to arrive at some conclusions about how best to provide a Technology Standards professional development activity that will encourage reluctant teachers to become engaged in using technology in instruction.

To accomplish your task:

  1. You will divide up into pairs.
  2. Half of each pair will research characteristics of reluctants, the other half will research strategies for engaging reluctants.
  3. Click on the appropriate topic link below and begin your research by using the resource links provided (you will have 45 minutes to complete your reading).
  4. Meet with members of other pairs who have researched the same topic to discuss the most important points (you will have 30 minutes for this activity).
  5. Report back to team members.

Conclusion
